Attention E-Retailers

It’s natural to be cautious in times like these.
Especially with the emotional rollercoaster we are all on watching the market crisis, but for web based businesses caution right now is the riskiest strategy. That’s because everyone wants to capitalize on business over the web, the one retail market that is certain to keep growing in 2009 even as the offline channel stalls. Postponing even simple improvements in the design and usability of your web site is inviting your competitors to take advantage of new web design techniques to take market share away from you.

Who Needs Money?

Funding is that ugly word most entrepreneurs do not want to hear, or have to deal with. We are all in the same boat, just in different oceans at different times. You must commit to having to do it, and it will come easier than you expect.

I found this site that gives great resources on business funding. Check out www.netpreneur.organd look under the funding section. From angels to VC’s, it’s all here. Another good resource from the SBA for a technology company looking for dollars for R&D and growth is the SBIR Program (Small Business Innovation Research) grant money. You can go towww.sba.gov and type in SBIR to pull it up……
